Your data

What we keep

• Parents: the email and password of your Melirate account. Signing up also sends you a Melirate welcome email.
• Kids: the first name and birth year you enter. Kids don't have an email address or password.
• Recording permission: who turned it on, when it was turned on or off, and under which terms.

Melirate runs on Supabase, Cloudflare and Vercel, which store or process this data for us. Resend sends the welcome email and receives your address to do so.

Clips

• Clips are saved only in this browser on this device. Nothing is sent to Ten Touch or anyone else.
• Nothing deletes them automatically. They stay until you delete them here, clear this browser's data, or the browser clears them to free space.
• You can watch, save a copy of, or delete any clip from your family page on this device. Deleting your child's profile does not remove clips already saved on a device; delete those from the family page on that device.
• Film somewhere private, like a garden or living room. Avoid filming other people.

Your choices

• Turn recording off at any time from the family page. No new clip starts after that. A clip already being filmed finishes and stays on the device, where you can delete it.
• Delete a kid's profile from the family page. That removes their name and birth year and ends their access. We keep a record that recording permission was given and withdrawn.
